The bishopric of Thetford (Latin: Dioecesis Thetfordensis ) was a United Kingdom located in present-day Roman Catholic diocese based in Thetford.

History

The bishopric of Thetford was established in the year 1075 due to the relocation of the bishopric of Elmham to Thetford by Bishop Herfast. In the year 1095 the bishop's seat was moved by Bishop Herbert de Losinga from Thetford to Norwich.

The bishopric of Thetford was the archbishopric of Canterbury, is a suffragan.
