Career

Association

Bismarck has already played in the junior division of CR Vasco da Gama, before he was admitted into the professional squad of the club in 1987. After the expiration of his first professional year, he won the state championship with the club in Rio de Janeiro, which was defended in the following year. In 1989, the team managed to even the Campeonato Brasileiro de Futebol, the national championship to win. At this time, Bismarck was already a major player in the ranks of the club and moved into the focus of the national team. 1990 saw the risk of slipping in the league.
