Bjarnar saga HÃtdÅ“lakappa
The Bjarnar Hítdælakappa saga ( Saga of Bjorn the Hitdæla Fighter ) is an Icelandic saga which was written around 1220.
The text corpus is obtained only incomplete and is found in two parchment manuscripts from the 14th century (AM 162 fol. ) And two paper manuscripts from the 17th century (AM 551 d α, 4to; . AM 157 b fol ) again. The beginning and the 14th chapter missing, or this ends in a Lacuna. In Chapter 58 of about 100 years younger to 1320/30 written saga Grettis the Bjarnar saga is quoted, which, among other things, the time Quotation drafting the Bjarnar saga is assumed.
