Bjuv

Bjuv is a place ( tätort ) in the Swedish province of Skåne County and the historical province Scania. The place is the main town in the municipality of the same name.

History

The town grew in the late 19th century quickly, since a coal mine established that in 1981, closed again. Traces of mining can still be seen in place today, it is among other things Put cracks due to subsidence. 1946 Bjuv was a market town, Swedish köping, and is served by the Pågatåg well to the larger town of Helsingborg.

In Bjuv also the food company Findus was founded, which operates a frozen production in place.
