BK Mladá Boleslav is a Czech ice hockey club from the Central Bohemian town of Mladá Boleslav, who since 2012 to the second division of the Czech Republic, the first league participates.

History

The BK Mladá Boleslav was founded in 1908 and is now a founding member of the Czech Ice Hockey Association. Mladá Boleslav played from 1936 to 1938 in the first division of the former Czechoslovakia. After the Second World War Mladá Boleslav played in the third and second Czechoslovak league. In the 1992/93 season the team got down to the third Czech league then independent. The resurgence in the second division was not until the Game 2001 /02.

In its history, the Association changed its name several times. So he joined in 1927 as Mladoboleslavský SK on, from 1948 as Sokol BK Mladá Boleslav. In 1966 the club was under the carrier operating Škoda and played under the name Škoda Auto Boleslav. Since 2000 was the official name of HC Mladá Boleslav, 2004, the club returned to the original name BK Mladá Boleslav.

Mladá Boleslav won in the 2007/ 08 season, the championship of the 1st League and sat down in the relegation for the Extraliga against HC Slovan Ustecti Lvi from Ústí nad Labem by. In the 2009/10 season of BK Mladá Boleslav joined again in the relegation and was able to prevail against the KLH Chomutov 4-1 victories. In the following season the club finished despite two recent coaching change in the standings of the major and relegation round, so that he had to play in the relegation.
