Black and Yellow

Black and Yellow is a song by the American rapper Wiz Khalifa from his third album Rolling Papers. The song was released on September 14, 2010 as the first single of the album. Black and Yellow was written by Wiz Khalifa and Stargate, and produced by Stargate. The title of the song is a reference to the flag of Pittsburgh. The song is best known for his many remix and remake versions. The single reached number one on the Billboard Hot 100 and became the first Khalifa's number -one hit in the United States. In the British charts Black and Yellow debuted on March 13, 2011 5th place

Music Video

The director for music video led Bill Paladino. The music video was filmed in Pittsburgh and shows important places and landmarks of the city, including the U.S. Steel Tower, BNY Mellon Center, PPG Place, the Three Sisters and the Smithfield Street Bridge, Station Square, Shannon Hall of the Art Institute of Pittsburgh and U.S. Steel. Furthermore, the "Terrible Towels " will be shown, a Fanutensil the followers of the Pittsburgh Steelers.

Versions

At the official remix Black & Yellow (G- Mix) worked with the rapper Snoop Dogg, Juicy J and T -Pain. Wiz Khalifa also rapped on the remix version. The remix version was filed on December 12, 2010 on the Internet, but only really published on December 16, 2010. A music video for the remix version was released on 8 January 2011. T -Pain subsequently recorded still own remix of Black and Yellow.

In the week ending November 13, 2010 Black and Yellow rose to number 43 on the Billboard Hot 100. Fifteen weeks later, the single reached # 1 on the Billboard Hot 100 in the week ending February 19, 2011, with over 198,000 units sold in the week. Until today were sold by Black and Yellow about 2.342 million units.
