Maldives Anemonefish (Amphiprion nigripes )

The Maldives anemonefish (Amphiprion nigripes ) lives in the coral reefs around the Maldives and Sri Lanka at depths of 2-25 meters. He is orange - brown with black belly and anal fins. On the back there is a vertical, white ribbon. Amphiprion nigripes becomes up to eleven inches.

The dorsal fin has ten to eleven hard and 17-18 soft rays, the anal fin two hard - and 13 to 15 soft rays.

He lives only with the Symbioseanemone Heteractis magnifica.
