Black Hole Recordings

Black Hole Recordings is a Dutch record label which specializes in trance. It was founded in 1997 by Arny Bink and Tiësto and has its headquarters in Breda. In August 2009, Tiësto sold his share to Arny Bink, who is now the sole owner.

History

In 1994, Tiësto wrote the label Basic Beat Recordings, where he met Arny Bink. 1997, the two decided to leave Basic Beat, and to start their own music label. About Black Hole Recordings, Tiësto released the album Magik series and founded in 1998, the two sub-labels In Trance We Trust and Songbird. Later, he released the album In Search of Sunrise series on Songbird. In 2001 Tiësto started a sub-label called Magik Muzik another, on which he published most of his chart success.

Black Hole Recordings were each nominated at the International Dance Music Awards in Miami in the years 2008 to 2012 as the Best Global Dance Record Label.
