Black Legend (music group)
Black Legend was the common musical project of two Italian DJs and music producers Enrico Ferrari and Ciro Sasso and British singer Elroy " Spoonface " Powell.
The band succeeded in the summer of 2000, an international hit with the title You See the Trouble with Me The song is based on a live sample of a concert by Barry White, he had made in 1990 in Belgium. When White refused to consent to use his voice for the track, he was re-recorded with the voice of Elroy Powell.
The single occupied in June 2000 for a week # 1 on the UK charts and also reached in Germany and Switzerland, the hit parade.
In the following years further productions appeared, some with considerable success in the European club scene. However, a great commercial success would not let happen again.
