Black Light Burns

Black Light Burns (short BLB ) is one of Wes Borland, guitarist of Limp Bizkit, initiated American rock band. The group was given in addition to Borland from Danny Lohner ( Nine Inch Nails ), Josh Eustis ( Telefon Tel Aviv) and Josh Freese (including The Vandals, A Perfect Circle ) and was considered a supergroup.

Similar to the Nine Inch Nails there was a studio and a live line-up, as the band for the other members was a side project. Meanwhile, there is only one formation, Lohner, Freese and Eustis are no longer performed as band members.

Band History

After various side projects (Big Dumb Face, Eat the Day, The Damning Well) Wes Borland decided in late 2003 to record an instrumental record with his friend Danny Lohner. This project should be turned into a real band, as with Josh Eustis and Josh Freese other musicians were involved. Borland took singing lessons and began to write lyrics for his previously recorded material. It gathered more and more material and in a short time more and more songs were written and recorded. The recordings were, however, repeatedly interrupted by the re-entry Limp Bizkit. In spring 2005, eventually Borland Limp Bizkit returns to the beginning of 2009 the back and makes Black Light Burns to his main project.

After various problems with the former label Geffen Records was signed in early 2007 a contract with Ross Robinson's newly formed label I AM: Wolfpack. The debut album Cruel Melody was released in June 2007, the first single Lie back in March 2007. For the summer of 2008, has already announced a festival tour through Europe and a tour in North America.

In a (now deleted ) blog entry on the official MySpace page of Black Light Burns, he announced that everything else except Black Light Burns side projects were and Black Light Burns was his main band. However, this is provided by a joint declaration with Limp Bizkit frontman Fred - Durst questioned, in which the two stated that they have nowhere else found such a powerful and unique energy like Limp Bizkit. This is why Limp Bizkit is back.

The new album The Moment You Realize You're Going To Fall rose to number 20 of the Heatseeker charts.
