Blackpool Dance Festival

The eight- day time Blackpool Dance Festival is the world's oldest still held international dance competition for ballroom dancing, which takes place since 1920 in the Theatre Winter Gardens in Blackpool, UK (North West England). The festival is organized annually; since the early 21st century in May. In 2003, 1539 couples in part from 54 countries.

Are performed for adults competitions in Ballroom and Latin dancing. The competitions are divided into amateurs, professional dancer and formations. Furthermore, there is the Professional Team Match and the Exhibition Competition.
