BLAG Linux and GNU

BLAG is a GNU / Linux distribution, which is developed by the " Brixton Linux Action Group ".

BLAG is a single - CD distribution with applications that users from one operating system "expect", including multimedia, image processing, Internet applications and more. BLAG also includes a selection of server packages. BLAG based on Fedora. The first release of BLAG took place on 22 October 2002. The latest stable version is BLAG 140k, which is based on Fedora 14 and published on May 4, 2011.

BLAG is one of the few Linux distributions that are listed on the website of the GNU project as a completely free Linux distributions. Richard Stallman called BLAG, GNU, and Ututo, when he was asked during a speech at the Universiti Sains Malaysia in 2005, which Linux distribution he recommended.

The script that is used in BLAG to remove non-free blobs of the kernel, was used as the basis for the Linux Libre scripts.
