Blaibach located between the city and the community Kötzting Miltach am Regen in the Bavarian Forest.

History

The first written mention of Blaibachs took place in 1182nd The monastery Reichenbach am Regen was long an important landowners in the municipality. Blaibach long belonged to the Barons of Notthafft of white stone. Castle Blaibach was mostly 1604/ 05 built in its present form by Wolf Albrecht Notthafft of Wernberg. 1611 sold Wolf Albrecht Hofmark to Christoph Wieninger to Wiesing. 1674 bequeathed Sara Genevieve Notthafft, born in Vienna hagfish, Hofmark testament to Johann Ernst Pelkhofer to Stachesried. 1741 Blaibach went back over to the white line of the Steiner Notthafft.

The village was part of the Electorate of Bavaria and formed a closed Hofmark whose seat was Blaibach. In the course of administrative reform in Bavaria, was born with the congregation of 1818, the current community.

The TSV Blaibach was founded in July 1929.

Incorporations

  • On 1 February 1963, the municipality Allmannsdorf was dissolved. As a result, districts Untergschaidt and Wimbach were incorporated into the municipality of cross stream, the hamlets Allmannsdorf and Obergschaidt come to church Kreuzbach.
  • On January 1, 1972, the places Kreuzbach, Untergschaidt and Wimbach, but not the districts Anzenberg, Höhenried and Dieter village were from the divided community Kreuzbach (these three places were simultaneously reclassified into the community Miltach ) in the community Blaibach incorporated. Portions of the township of Berne village, which was mainly attributed to Chamerau, were added also.

The municipal tax revenue amounted to the equivalent of € 723,000 in 1999, which amounted to the trade tax revenues ( net) converted € 162,000.

Blazon: Red in an upright silver dragon with a spiked tail, of a golden mallet keeps its right claw and supports the left claw a golden shield with a blue bar.

Culture and sights

The Catholic parish of St. Elizabeth, a late Baroque church hall, was built in 1779. Your onion dome is crowned by a lantern. The equipment comes mostly from the 18th and 19th centuries. The picture window created in 1895 and 1910, the ceiling frescoes in 1895. The organ case is a work of the early 18th century. The church has a hl. Elisabeth from the period around 1500 as well as some grave monuments from the 17th and 18th centuries.

The former Hofmarkschloss 1604 with its stepped gables inn is today.

Economy, agriculture and forestry

It was in 1998 according to official statistics in manufacturing and 138 in trade and transport, no social insurance contributions at the workplace. Blaibach is situated on the state road 2140 between Kötzting and Miltach.

Railway

Personalities

Lived here from 1945 to 1949 Albert Wass ( 1908-1998 ), one of the best known prose writers in Hungary. He lived from 1945 until his death in Germany and in the USA. In Blaibach he wrote many of his most famous works, such as the poem üzenet haza or Hontalanság hitvallása, Láthatatlan Lobogo, A BUJDOSÓ Imaja. He has also written several novels here. Among them are Adjátok vissza hegyeimet (Give my mountains again) and Elvész a Nyom ( The track is lost ) the most important.
