Blaise Matuidi ( born April 9, 1987 in Toulouse ) is a French football player who is under contract since July 2011 when the French first division side Paris St Germain. His preferred position is defensive midfield.

Career

Clubs

Matuidi, whose parents are from Angola and came across the Zaïre to France, played in the Youth for U.S. Fontenay -sous -Bois, CO Vincennois and U.S. Créteil. From the 2004/05 season he played for ES Troyes AC, in which he came in his first season two appearances in the first team. Troyes managed this season promotion to the Ligue 1, where he was a regular player of his team from the following season. National

Matuidi came for several French junior national teams to use.
