Blake Nelson
Blake Nelson ( born August 31, 1960 in Chicago) is an American writer.
Blake Nelson spent his childhood and youth in Portland, Oregon. Today he lives with his wife in New York. He studied at Wesleyan University in Connecticut and Modern European History at New York University. Nelson is the author of numerous youth books. He also writes for magazines such as the British " Cosmopolitan " and " Men's Vogue". His novel Paranoid Park by Gus van Sant was filmed and was awarded at the International Film Festival in Cannes 2007 with the Special Award for the 60th Anniversary of the festival.
