Blake Sloan

Blake Sloan ( born July 27, 1975 in Park Ridge, Illinois ) is an American professional ice hockey player who played in the Deutsche Eishockey Liga for the Red Bull EHC Munich. Sloan won the 1999 with the Dallas Stars to the Stanley Cup, then subsequently moved to the Swedish club Timrå IK and from there to the 2006/07 season to Mannheim before he played between 2009 and 2012 for the Grizzly Adams Wolfsburg.

Career

Sloan's NHL career also began with the Dallas Stars, for which he for the Farm Team Houston Aeros came alongside playing his first 33 NHL inserts, in which he succeeded, however, did not score in two assists. Internationally

Sloan participated with the U.S. National Team at the 2004 World Championship, where he won the bronze medal with Team USA. In nine World Cup matches Sloan scored two goals.
