Blanchard Springs Caverns

The Blanchard Springs Caverns is a cave in Stone County in the northern part of the U.S. state of Arkansas. It is one of the most impressive and best preserved caves in the world. Several thousand formations of stalactites, stalagmites, columns and terraces still grow.

Two lighted paths of the length of about one kilometer are open for guided tours.

The mile-long cave is also home to some crickets, bats, salamanders, frogs and various insects. However, these are not visible on the lit tours of the cave.
