Blankenese is produced by NDR television series which aired the mid-1990s in the ARD. It was named in reference to the Blankenese district of Hamburg. In 26 episodes, she tells the story of the fictional ship owner family Nicholaison. Known cooperating actors are: Antje Hagen, Ursula Lingen, Gisela Trowe, Till Demtrøder, Agnes Dünneisen, Lisa Martinek, Philipp Moog and Wolfgang Volz.
