Bledisloe Cup

The Bledisloe Cup is a traditional cup competition in the sport of Rugby Union, ( the Wallabies ) and New Zealand is ( the All Blacks ) played between the national teams of Australia. History

There is confusion about when the first match was played at the Bledisloe Cup. The Australian Rugby Union claims that this was in 1931 in Eden Park, Auckland. However, there is no firm evidence for this assertion. The New Zealand Rugby Football Union 's view, the first game had taken place in 1932.

By 1981 there were only at irregular intervals games for the cup, as part of the foreign tours of both teams.
