Bledius spectabilis

The Magnificent salt beetle ( Bledius spectabilis ) is a beetle of the family of rove beetles ( Staphylinidae ).

Features

The beetles reach a body length of 5-7 millimeters. The anterior margin of the cephalic shield is not bent, the pronotum is dotted extensive and somewhat uneven, its front angle is not pointed. Most often has the disc on a non-punctured pronotum oblique fold. The horn of the pronotum is furrowed in the male. The legs are usually brightly colored. The species is widespread in the southern Palearctic.
