Blic

Blic is a daily newspaper in Serbia.

The newspaper was founded in 1996 by a group of Austrian businessmen. The first edition appeared on 16 September 1996. 2004, the newspaper was sold to the Swiss media company Ringier.

During the political protests in 1996 and 1997, the newspaper reported of these, what brought her anger with the regime of Slobodan Milošević. Then undertook the editorship to hold back with the coverage, while some journalists of the newspaper and the political opposition protested. This led to the formation of a new newspaper. This was for the first five editions Novi Blic and was then renamed glass javnosti.

Today, there are in addition to the daily newspaper or other formats such as Blic Žena, Blic pulse and Euro Blic.
