Blood Diner is an American horror parody of Jackie Kong in the year 1987. It is intended as a homage to the classic Blood Feast, a horror film, which was directed by Herschell Gordon Lewis in 1963 and to this day is considered a cult film of Gore.

Action

The psychopathic uncle Anwar visited on the run from the police his two nephews George and Michael Tutman. He reminds them to continue to practice black magic. When he comes out, he is shot by the police and dies.

20 years go by, the brothers grow up and run a vegetarian restaurant. You dig up the corpse of her uncle and bring his brain back to life. Background

Blood Diner and night Academy were the first films of the newly founded by Jackie Kong, Jimmy Maslon, Ellen Steloff and Lawrence Kasanoff production company PMS Filmworks. Night Academy was a slapstick comedy and was supposed to be the flagship of the label, while Blood Diner should be included in the program of the investor Vestron only. Financial constraints and skeptical producers ensured, however, that the filming overlapped on both movies and Jackie Kong had to turn at the same time. Blood Diner was the more successful film. Ultimately, PMS, however, went bankrupt.

The film was particularly heavily censored in the UK and Germany. The German version had werden.Erst shortened for a G - 18 about seven minutes published in 2004 a limited edition of 3,000 pieces uncut version on the label Dragon Film Entertainment. For the February 2010 a shared retest after 16 years from uncut version was surprisingly announced. Meanwhile, the film has been downgraded to the G -16 and as such is available on DVD.
