Blaupunkt cichlid ( Andinoacara pulcher )

The Blaupunkt cichlid ( Andinoacara pulcher, Latin pulcher - Beautiful) is a cichlid from Trinidad and the opposite parts of Venezuela. As an aquarium fish he was first introduced in 1906 to Germany. It has been the flagship species of the so-called " Aequidens " pulcher group, a group of species that can be distinguished from other members of the genus Aequidens by differences in color, bone structure and scales on and from which you previously thought a closer relationship to the genus Bujurquina had.
