History

The Blue Angels were formed in 1963 in Glasgow, Scotland, and can thus be regarded as one of Europe's oldest motorcycle clubs. Tommy Howells, Lenny Reynolds and Alan Morrison founded the club. The naming was influenced by Scotland's national color. At the beginning we organized "Sunday Runs", held regularly on Sundays trips, which led to an enlargement of the club. Especially in the 1960s, there were clashes with the mods and feuding clubs. Later, other chapters were founded. Today, there are three chapters in Scotland (Glasgow, West Coast and South East), three in the UK (Leeds, Lake District and York). In Belgium, there are other Chapter ( Limburg, Antwerp, Ghent and Southwest ).

In the Belgian Blue Angels of the helmet instead of the swastika carries the colors of the Belgian flag.
