Blue Danube (band)

Blue Danube was an Austrian vocal group that was founded to represent Austria at the Euro Vision Song Contest 1980. The title you're music, written by Klaus- Peter Sattler, reached the 8th place. Then you have not heard from the band.

The members of the group were Marty Brem, Wolfgang " Marc" Berry, Sylvia Schramm, Rena Mauris and Wolfgang Weiss. A second title, Rock ' n' Roller Skates yet been recorded for the release of a single. The Euro Vision Post, there was also a promotional video.

The group's name refers to the allegedly waltz On the Beautiful Blue Danube, but not on Blue Danube Radio or the Linz airport.
