Blue Origin

Blue Origin is a privately held US-based aerospace company, which was founded in September 2000 and focused on the implementation of suborbital flights. The company belongs to the Amazon founder Jeff Bezos.

Business

The headquarters is located south of Seattle, where the research and development department is located in Kent (Washington), a suburb. The test site is located on the Corn Ranch in Culberson County ( Texas), north of the town of Van Horn.

An article in the Economic Journal "The Economist" in 2004 reported that the company wants to build a space ship that can launch vertically with its own drive and land.
