The Bluetick Coonhound is a breed of dog from the USA. It is not recognized by the FCI, but is recognized by the UKC and since 2009 also by the AKC.

In Louisiana, developed from the crossing of Foxhounds, half-breeds, English Coonhounds and French hounds of the Bluetick Coonhound. Today he is recognized on the raccoon. Like all " raccoon dog " it's rather large, up to 69 cm and moderate to 36 kg. The coat of the dog is of medium length, soft, smooth and shiny in white, deep blue, black spotted or speckled, and each tan markings on the head and hanging.
