Blurt

Blurt is the name of a band that was founded in 1979 by the British saxophonist, poet and puppeteer Ted Milton (born 1943).

Milton has for decades with his blend of expressive saxophone, Dadaist lyrics and a punk -inspired minimalist, hard and fast accompanied by drums and guitar a style, which he described as a jazz - punk. In part, the band was also active in larger ensembles. To date, Blurt have released over 30 LPs and still give concerts.
