BMW R 1100 RS

The BMW R 1100 RS is a fully enclosed motorcycle from BMW. The Tourer is all models of the R- series driven as by a two-cylinder boxer engine and was built in the years 1993-2001 at the BMW plant in Berlin Spandau.

The air and oil- cooled two- cylinder engine produced from 1085 cc capacity is rated at 66 kW (90 hp) and a maximum torque of 95 Nm at an engine speed of 5500 min -1. Landing gear

The landing gear consists of three parts consisting of front and rear frames and mittragendem engine.

The front suspension consists of a Telelever fork with longitudinal control arm triangle and a hydraulically damped monoshock. The rear suspension consists of a Paralever single-sided swingarm with hydraulically damped, adjustable monoshock.

The suspension can be adjusted fore and aft individually and adjusted to the driver's wishes, depending on whether sporty or comfortable ride is preferred. Seat height, handlebar position, windshield and hand brake lever can be adjusted as well. On request, the R 1100 RS came with anti -lock braking system.
