Reviews

" The R1150GS is more of an evolution than a new bike, but it was equipped in some points with very useful improvements. Therefore, it is certainly better than the R1100, although one could make but a few additional changes. "

"With 84 horsepower, the zenith has been reached, for the rapid cross-country flight that is always enough. What the non- intoxicating revving boxer can get over well. At 7000 rpm, the air is out, thousands of revolutions later is final celebration evening. More speeds do not expect the BMW designers the complicated valve control. "

" The 1150s boxer is considered robust and can loose the 100,000 -mile hurdle crack with good care. The problem is a maximum - typical BMW - Series scattering. Switching impacts from the transmission, vibration behavior, the constant motion judder and noise from the drive train can be stronger than usual appear on some machines. "
