Bo Dietl

Alfred Richard " Bo" Dietl (* 1950 ) is an American detective, entrepreneur, actor and writer.

Life

Dietl served from June 1969 as a police officer with the New York City Police Department. In March 1985, he injured his foot during a parachute jump and left the NYPD to establish the detective and security firm Beau Dietl & Associates.

In the congressional elections of 1986, Dietl was nominated in the sixth electoral district of New York, was defeated in the election but Floyd H. Flake. George HW Bush appointed Dietl 1989 Chairman of the National Crime Commission. In 1994 he was appointed Chairman of the Security Guard Advisor Community to the Governor of New York.
