Bo-Taoshi

Bo - Taoshi (防衛大学校 の 棒 倒し) is a capture-the -flag -like game that is primarily played by the cadets of the Japanese Defence Academy Boei Daigakkō. In this case, rivaled two teams of 150 players for control of a post. The team is divided into an attacker and a defense group ( 75 per player). With both teams at the same time one part each team in the defensive position begins grouped around the pole, while the other is positioned some distance from the opponent's defense team as an attacking group. When the game starts, the attacking team tries to bring the pile to case or from the upright position to an inclined position. The attacking team wins if the stake from the initial vertical position reaches a 30 -degree angle ( to the floor). Before the rules were adjusted in 1973, the required angle was only 45 degrees. Injuries are as much a game as the man on top of the post, which is appropriately named " Monkey " and takes on an important role in defense.
