Bob Catley

Robert Adrian Catley, ( born September 11, 1947 in Aldershot ( Hampshire ), England ) is a British singer who was best known as a singer of the band Magnum, as well as numerous solo and side projects.

Youth

After the family moved to the Birmingham area Catley attended a high school (comparable to high school in Germany ), to then begin training at the post office. However, he was motivated to pursue a musical career by like-minded friends. Already during his school years he had been involved in several bands. " Paradox", Catleys first professional band, released two singles, but obtained no meaning.

Magnum (1972-1995, since 2001)

Together with guitarist Tony Clarkin Catley founded the band Magnum, which was known in the British club scene in 1972, but was first commercially very successful. Legends ( 1999)
