Bob Helm
Bob Helm ( born July 18, 1914 in Fairmead, California, † 2003) was an American clarinettist and saxophonist of Dixieland jazz.
Bob Helm was a veteran of the California Revival Scene; he worked with Lu Watters in 1940 and from the mid-1940s with trombonist Turk Murphy. He later also launched its own formation, Bob Helm's Riverside Roustabouts, but with only a few shots were taken 1957-1988; only in the 1990s, took helmet on several albums for the label Stomp Off. Bob Helm also worked on recordings by Chris Tyle 's New Orleans Rover Boys ( 19891 ) Jacques Gauthés band YerbaBuesta Style 1994 and the South Frisco Jazz Band (1984 and 1989).
