Bob Kiesel

Bob Pebbles ( actually: Robert Allan pebble; born August 30, 1911 in Sacramento, California; † August 6, 1993 in Boise, Idaho) was an American sprinter and Olympic gold medalist.

As a student of the University of California Pebble won the IC4A Championships 1934 on 100 m and 200 m and 1932 more than 220 yards.

At the Olympic Games 1932 in Los Angeles, he won the 4 x 100 - meter relay along with Emmett Toppino, Hector Dyer and Frank Wykoff the gold medal with a world record time of 40.0 seconds ahead of the teams from Germany ( silver) and Italy ( bronze).
