Bob Lind

Bob Lind ( born November 25, 1942 in Baltimore, Ohio; Complete name Robert Neale Lind ) is a popular English language singer, who celebrated his greatest successes in the 1960s. He is regarded as one- hit wonder, since he could have only one hit parade success: Elusive Butterfly.

Lind graduated in 1965 with the record company World Pacific Records a record deal. His big hit Elusive Butterfly was released from this record company. He finished fifth in the UK and U.S. singles charts. He would have had as a singer with this song more success, if not a cover version of Val Doonican about the same time would also achieved fifth place in the British charts. More than 200 singers have recorded songs by Bob Lind, including Cher, Glen Campbell, Aretha Franklin, Dolly Parton, Eric Clapton, Nancy Sinatra, the Four Tops and Petula Clark.

In 1969, Lind retired from the music business. A few years ago he settled in Florida and worked as a writer.

2004 Lind returned to the music business. He brought out re-releases of his album Since There Were Circles 2006 and his hit Elusive Butterfly 2007.
