Bob Maitland

Robert " Bob" John Maitland ( born March 31, 1924 in Birmingham, † August 24, 2010 in Metz ) was an English racing cyclist.

Even as a young Bob Maitland cycling was thrilled at first he worked as autograph collector, until he started with driving. He became an engineer, so he did not have at the front in World War II and could continue to cycle competitively. 1945 and 1946 won the British Hill Climb Championship Maitland.
