Bob Sauvé

Robert F. "Bob" Sauvé ( born June 17, 1955 in Sainte -Geneviève, Quebec ) is a retired Canadian professional ice hockey goalie who from 1976 to 1989 for the Buffalo Sabres, Detroit Red Wings, Chicago Blackhawks and New Jersey Devils in the National Hockey League played.

Career

During his time at the Laval Junior National in the QMJHL, he played with Mike Bossy. In the NHL Amateur Draft 1975, the Buffalo Sabres were on goalie search and selected three goalkeepers, including Sauvé was in the first round of the first of the three chosen as 17.
