Bob Wren

Robert Wren ( born September 16, 1974 in Preston, Ontario ) is a Canadian professional ice hockey player who is since July 2013 when the Nottingham Panthers of the Elite Ice Hockey League contract.

Career

Wren began his hockey career with the Guelph GMC 's and the Kingston Voyageurs in the Canadian Junior Football League Ontario Junior Hockey League and moved in 1991 into the professional junior league Ontario Hockey League, where he 134 goals and 211 assists for the Detroit Junior Red Wings reached in three years and was elected twice to the OHL All- Star team. NHL Entry Draft 1993, the Center was selected in the third round at 94th overall position of the Los Angeles Kings. However, Wren signed a contract as a free agent with the Hartford Whalers, but played for their farm team, the Springfield Falcons in the American Hockey League. For the season 2009/10 Wren was taken from ERC Ingolstadt under contract. Early April 2011, decided this would not renew his end of the season 2010/11 expiring contract. In August 2011, he was obliged by the Ravensburg Tower Stars of the 2nd Bundesliga. After only one year at the Ravensburg Tower Stars he signed for first division EC Graz 99ers.

In July 2013 Wren was obliged for a season of the Nottingham Panthers of the Elite Ice Hockey League.
