EHC Kreuzlingen- Konstanz (since 1978)

The Bodensee-Arena is an ice stadium in Kreuzlingen in Switzerland. It is the home stadium of the EHC Kreuzlingen- Konstanz. From 1999 to 2009 it was the home of HC Thurgau from the National League B.

History and use

Located directly on Lake Constance and at the German border to Constance Arena was opened in February 1978 and has an official capacity of 4,300 spectators at hockey games and can be expanded up to 6000 seats at events. 2000, the Bodensee-Arena was renovated. In 2002 also an open but roofed Ausseneis was opened, which was renovated in 2005. In addition, the arena on the east side ( lake side) has an attached hotel.

In summer, the hall mainly cultural purposes. Well-known artists such as DJ Bobo, Chris de Burgh or André Rieu have performed here.
