Bodum

The Bodum Group is a Danish manufacturer of kitchenware and utensils with headquarters in Switzerland.

The company was founded in 1944 in Copenhagen and is still family-owned. The concept of Bodum depends on functionality, quality and an affordable price. "Good design does not have to be expensive " - the vision of company founder Peter Bodum.

Already at the beginning of times follow Peter Bodum, the principle " form follows function".

With his cafetiere "Santos" he received because of its unique design international recognition and this became in the 1950s, 60s and 70s, one of the world's major coffee maker. Today, Santos is still produced in the original design ( derived from Kaas Klaeson ) from Bodum.
