Bodykit

A body kit (English body kit ) is a body kit for motor vehicles, usually a styling kit in the car tuning range consisting of a front apron, side skirts and rear apron. The body kit can be supplemented by further spoilers, such as rear spoiler, roof spoiler, air intakes and bonnet. Also for trucks body kits are offered. However, this ostensibly serve to optimize aerodynamics and thus to reduce the air resistance and fuel consumption.

The extreme form, the wide body kit is a body - wide body kit. This, however, is to be found only in the car tuning range. The installation of a wide body kits is usually associated with modified suspension tuning, wide wheel and tire combinations and extensive body work.
