Boe District

Boe is a district of the island nation of Nauru in the South West of the island. It is 0.5 km ², the smallest district (slightly larger than the Vatican City ), but still has 851 inhabitants. It borders on Aiwo to the north, Buada in the northeast and to Yaren in the southeast. Boe belongs to the same constituency Boe.

Boe means, according to Paul Hambruch " leeward ".

Historic Villages

By 1968, the current district Boe was a Gau, which consisted of four historic villages.
