Boeny
Boeny is one of the 22 regions of Madagascar. It belongs to the ( old ) Province of Mahajanga in the northwest of the island and is situated on the road from Mozambique. In 2004, 543 200 inhabitants living in the region.
Geography
The Boeny region has an area of 31,046 km ². Capital is Mahajanga.
