Bogdanci

Bogdanci (Cyrillic Богданци ) is a small town of about 6,000 inhabitants in the southeast of Macedonia near the border with Greece. It is the administrative seat of the larger municipality was named after her ( Opština ).

Geography

Bogdanci lies in the Gevgelija - canyon that extends from southern Macedonia to Greece. Through the gorge of the river Vardar flows. Many hills surround the city, to the east lies the mountain Belasica.

The city is located 80-90 meters above sea level. The E-75 motorway connects Bogdanci with the other cities in the Administrative District. Minor roads connect the city with Gevgelija, Stojakovo and Gjavoto, another road runs through the valley of Paljurska towards Dojran and Strumica. Under the poor condition of roads and other infrastructure the city's economy suffers.

Climate
