Bogensee

The Bogensee in book is a small lake in the western part of Forst. Main tributary is the Seegraben. Drain via a pipe connection, the top carp. The water coverage is dependent on the rainfall and the water levels in the tributaries. The area around the lake is marshy.

Fauna

In addition to the easy auszumachenden birds coot, mallard and swan, there are at least ten other bird species. In addition, the species of fish crucian carp, gable, carp and roach and the spawning of the toads have been detected in the water. In the wet meadows on the banks edge the grass snake is native.

Flora

The lake is almost completely surrounded by trees. The lowest growth is on the way between Bogensee and carp.
