Bogner Amplification

Bogner Amplification is an American manufacturer of guitar amplifiers based in Los Angeles. The company was founded by the German Reinhold Bogner, who has been producing since 1990 amplifiers and amplifier modifications under the Trade Mark Bogner and markets.

History and products

Reinhold Bogner began with about fourteen years to recreate tube amp from Marshall and Fender for yourself and friends and to experiment with tubes. He later continued his career with the conversion of Marshall amplifiers and emigrated in 1989 from Ulm to the United States. In his luggage was a heavily modified Marshall JCM -800, which he showed different musicians. Later he modified, among other things, the amplifier by Steve Vai, Eddie Van Halen and Mike Landau.

The first Bogner series product was the Triple Giant, a three-channel all-tube preamp for 19 "rack systems.
