Bogny-sur-Meuse

Bogny -sur -Meuse is a commune with 5416 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2011 ) in the Ardennes department in the Champagne- Ardenne region; it belongs to Arrondissement Charles Ville- Mézières and Canton Monthermé. The municipality was created in 1967 through the merger of Château- Regnault, Braux and Levrezy.

History

Until 1629 Château- Regnault was the center of an independent principality.
