Bogofilter

Bogofilter is a filter program that can be used for sorting out unwanted e -mails. Bogofilter was first developed by Eric S. Raymond, but is developed by a large group of developers since 2002, and is free software.

The program is written in the C programming language and runs very fast. It is based on the analysis of e-mails, unlike, say, SpamAssassin, only on statistical algorithms ( Bayesian filter), including those from the article " A plan For Spam " by Paul Graham.

Bogofilter can be integrated in different ways into a mail system, but needs the interaction with the user, the mail can also be classified as spam / ham. Has the program adequately trained, very good recognition rates are thus, as with similar programs, is possible.
