Bohemia B-5

The aircraft Bohemia B-5 is a two-seater biplane. The machine was designed and built by the aircraft workshops Bohemia Pilsen. The first flight of the machine took place on April 27, 1919 at the airfield in Pilsen. It involves the first aircraft of Czechoslovak production at all. The hull and surfaces made ​​of wood, which was covered with fabric. The wings were associated with double I - styles and braced. The tail wheel landing gear was fixed. The engine worked on a two - leaved wood propeller. The machine proved to be not a commercial success due to the poor performance. A part of the hull is in the Museum of aviation ( Letecké Muzeum ) in Prague Kbely.
